We are excited to continue our work with students and staff to support them with our universal and specialized assistive technologies. Here is the AT we are supporting students with this year:

New for 2021/22 as pilot projects in our schools:
Additionally, we support students and staff to integrate the following:
Accessibility for iOS devices (text to speech, speech recognition, scanning)
Specialized apps and web-based tools to support literacy/numeracy/social support
Organizational technology tools to support executive functioning skills (ex. Google Keep, OneNote, Mindmeister, Padlet, other tools)
Alternate access to the school environment/curriculum through technology (accessible textbooks)
Univeral Design for Learning and its application to assistive technologies
Literacy and AAC-modelling and technology use
Support to EMSB families with AT
