For 2018-19 school year, the assistive technology consultants at EMSB have a lendinbg library available for teachers and students to trial specific assistive apps. If you would like to try out a short-term trial at your school, you can access an iPad along with support from the AT consultants for integration into the curriculum or for social/augmentative communication purposes. A trial is a good way to assess if the app is a good match for the student. You can access a list of assistive apps on our ipads here:
